Auroville, Pondicherry — Lotus Design Dome (Wire-Cut Bricks)
This project is located in Auroville, Pondicherry and features a beautifully crafted lotus-inspired dome constructed using wire-cut bricks. The design reflects harmony with nature and showcases refined traditional masonry blended with artistic detailing.
The dome spans 16 feet × 13 feet, with a central lotus design carefully shaped at the crown. The structure has a 15-inch rise, ensuring both structural stability and aesthetic elegance. Every brick has been precisely laid to highlight the flowing curves of the lotus form, making the dome a visual and architectural focal point.
