Skylight Dome Crafted with Wire-Cut Bricks-Hyderabad

This extraordinary dome, designed by Tattva Kala Architecture from Bangalore, showcases Akshay’s creative vision. Constructed with precision using wire-cut bricks, the dome spans an impressive 20 feet by 16 feet with a raising of 16 inches. The centerpiece features an open skylight, allowing natural light to enhance the space beautifully. A masterpiece of architectural ingenuity, these five photos highlight the intricate design and craftsmanship of this remarkable structure.

This design dome, constructed in Hyderabad, spans 20 feet by 13 feet, with a raising of 14 inches. The dome features bricks sized 9/4/2.3, carefully selected for structural integrity and aesthetic appeal. The precise design and craftsmanship of this dome make it an architectural highlight, showcasing the versatility and strength of brickwork in modern dome construction.

This dome, built in Karim Nagar, Telangana, was my first trial using lime mortar without any beams. The structure underwent rigorous testing, including a 55 kg load test, which was successfully passed, showcasing the strength and reliability of the design.
